Wii 4 Me!

Last Thursday I was lucky enough to get a Wii of my very own, thank you soooo much to Justin Tsang for giving me the rights to your extra pre-order, you rock so much!

You may have seen me walking around with a plastic bag all that day, well that was my Wii, and I wasn't going to let it out of my sight for one second!

Anyway, once I finally brought it home, DAMN it was fun.  Wii Sports (the first game to be packaged with a console <excluding bundle offers> since the SNES) is really really great.  The controls are so innovative that you can just pick up a Wiimote and start whacking tennis balls, and not fail miserably.  The multiplayer aspect is even better, since multiplayer tennis, baseball, and boxing are much more fun that against the computer.  Bowling and Golf are also excellent sports in the package, each one being easy to learn but difficult to master.  Now I gotta get me hands on another wiimote and nunchuk, since they're sold out EVERYWHERE.

This brings the list of RHSers with Wiis to Me, Eddie (Cheung), Jeffrey (Tam), Jermo, Justin (Tsang), who am I missing?

In local news, snow is awesome.  Here's hoping for a torrential snowfall tonight to cancel school tomorrow.

Here's a video that was originally shown to me by Zack, enjoy.

Edit: Fixed the video

Wii!!!

Finally, the long-awaited release of the Wii!  I watched live as the first Wii console was sold by the President of Nintendo of America himself, Reggie Fils-Aime, to a guy whose actual first name was "Triforce" XDXDXD

There were tons of hardcore fanbois and girls in Times Square, and smart Nintendo actually shipped enough units for everyone to be able to buy one

Props to Eddie Cheung, Jermo, Justin Tsang, and whoever else is lining up tonight (Saturday) in the freezing cold to get a Wii tomorrow (Sunday morning).

And now for something completely different... "The Controller of the Wii" is an excellent Flash music video, check it out!

Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan

Yekshemash, I just saw Borat and it was SOOO GOOD!  I was pretty much laughing for the entire time.  If any of you haven't seen it, go now!

This is a clip from the credits at the end, dunno about you but I love it!
